Still Not Tired
After reading "Still not Tired" I can honestly say I am a firm believer in most of things I read. I loved the discussion in class today. I think a lot of things that were said were very informative and everyone had good points and views. The US as a whole lacks a lot of things LOYALTY is one of them. I say this because we are brought up differently from other countries. We are taught to be loyal to our families and people around us. Other countries are taught to be loyal to the whole country and the person in charge. We as a whole have a problem with showing loyalty to who is in charge. People only see color they don't see it as being loyal. Osama was a leader and everyone worshiped him, looked up to him and respected everything he said. I strongly feel that we will never hear the end of war or Osama. Reason being is because of the loyalty his country shares and shows. It isn't just him. He isn't in this alone. It is people in line ready to take over plans that he has created and follow through with what he believes in. Although there are a few that do not show the same loyalty as the rest of the people and have the tendency to sneak through the holes and provide the US with valuable information. There are very few of those. Reading this section I found out a lot of informative things. I never knew that there were bombings going on every where. I also never knew that Muslims were recruiting people to help plan these attacks. After reading this section and answering the questions I resorted back to my favorite song "Words I Never Said" bu Lupe Fiasco. I understood the song much more. Everything Lupe stated in this song I believe is true in some ways.
